Compare and contrast living in an apartment and in the dormitory(final)
My experience of living outside away from my parents has begun since I went to Taipei for study. In the first two year of my university life, I lived in the dormitory. But now I've been living in an apartment with my other four classmates for nearly a year. Of course, both them have advantages and disadvantages simultaneously. I think the differences between living in an apartment and in the dormitory are privacy, cost, and environmental hygiene. Living in an apartment has more privacy than living in the dormitory. Usually, one room in the dormitory contains four or five people at most. And it's an open area that every action could be seen in the eyes of everyone. So if you need more privacy, an apartment offers more personal space than dormitory. However, the costs of living in an apartment are definitely more expensive, which include not only the monthly rents but the extra expenses, such as LNG (liquefied natural gas), eating, and transportation fees. On the campus of NTUST, we students seem to be quite self-contained in some way. We can eat and buy most necessities cheaply without leaving the campus. In contrast with dormitory, things can only be available with the market prices outside. At last, as far as the environmental hygiene, dormitory is better than an apartment. In the dormitory, all we have to do with the garbage is to throw them in the garbage cans, and then someone would take them out for us. However, living in an apartment, we have to do it all by ourselves. So, again, there are advantages and disadvantages. Personally, I would choose a dormitory instead of an apartment. A dormitory is better for me because I don't like commuting.

True Free Writing
Recently there were too many things running around in my brain. And I felt like I would almost be burning out. Even when I was writing this article, I had no idea about how this article will end. Maybe this is the true free writing. You write what you could think of. Actually, there were too many topics I can think of when writing this article. But they were just some scraps. I can't orderly organize them. Originally, I wanna talk about generation overload or humans. Frankly, sometimes I hate the interaction with people. Although I know no one is completely perfect, but…. Probably, this is the worst article on my blog…….

Dreams Divine the Future
____When I was young, I had more dreams than I am now. However, the dreams didn't pique my interest in investigating them because they weren't as shocking as I have had recently. I think everyone has heard that things in the dreams are often contrary to real lives. Nevertheless, based on my personal experiences, I don't think that is 100-percent true. Because I have had two bad dreams that eventually led to different results. A dream happening during the period when we junior had to choose our projects was a bad one because this bad dream concerned with the death of one of my family. At first, I didn't think it's a good sign for me although a lot of information on the web read something good was going to happen. Eventually it did successfully predict that I was able to choose the project intended. This dream was truly a good example showing, what they call, the reverse between dreams and lives. But I've also got another dream. It did not totally fit in that case. Instead, it showed the similarity between dreams and real lives. I dream that my hair gradually shed. And there should be something good happening just based on their theory. But In the end, I paid $1,800 for running the red light that morning. So I don't think one should totally believe that theory. To some extent, I think everyone has this hidden, incredible ability predicting what is going to happen in the future only if you dig it out.

Why did I choose my malor?(final fianl)
____The decisions of attending a vocational high school and choosing my major relating to Mechanical Engineering were independently made by me and my mom at the end of my junior high school days. Actually, it was a long story. Because the response to this writing topic, why did I choose my major, and following ones you are going to present all date back to that days. Also, I believe the result of "where I am now" would definitely be based on this most fundamental decision I made at that time, which was going to a vocational high school instead of an ordinary high school. Frankly speaking, I didn't know clearly about the differences between those two types of high schools. But the only facts I did "believe" in were I could probably get rid of those annoying subjects—like Math, Chemistry and Physics—and needn't to experience the stressed out life in an ordinary one just by attending a vocational one. But ironically, while making the decision then, I had no idea about what vocational ones are available, let alone heard about the vocational high school that I have now already graduated from. Even now, it still sounds a little bit ridiculous to me in some way. I really can't imagine how naive I was then. But honestly, a vocational one would probably be a better choice for me. At this point, if you are thinking this is the end of my story, you are wrong. The "worst" is yet to come….
____I remember the day I went with my mom to my high school for picking up my major. While waiting in the long line for that, I asked her whether she knew what the Architectural Engineering Department was. Because the information I had was limited. I wanted to know more about what their jobs—either a designer or a construction labor—might be in the future after graduation. However, her answer was not what I meant to receive. "The constructions in Taiwan have almost saturated and the boom will be shifting to Mainland China," she said. Suddenly, I felt like getting a slap right on my face. If cleverly enough, you would definitely know what she tried to express indirectly. Of course, she didn't want me to pick that up. At the same time, the closer it was to my turn, the lesser the choices available. So right before my turn to pick, she called my cousin for some advice. Eventually, I picked up Drafting Department(製圖科) as my major, based on their decision. And then that decision led to my major later, Mechanical Engineering, in university. This is the only choice because Drafting Department is one of the fields in Mechanical Engineering.
____Even now, I still have a passion for buildings—and nothing could pique my interests as much as it. But As far as my major is concerned, I used to feel bored about it. Fortunately now, I gradually like it by picking up my project this year. And I know if I am able to advance my study and still be a graduate student of the professor of my project, definitely, I will get a good job just because of his fame. But I wonder whether this is truly what I want….
